Uship in Walled Lake, Michigan - Tritoon hauling 550 miles

the company had a transporter agreen to haul it ,never could haul it as his old equipment could not manasge,waitng 2 weeks for them to find out this,still waiting on my money return thru cc there trying to take a fee of more than 13percent,do not use this company,uship is u dog dirt,the transporter also stated he was trying to get another vehicle but he couldn't come up with the 2500 down payment needed for another used piece of equipment,good lord hows a man to make money without spending it first,i been in trucking 19 years and know quite a bit

UShip Fees extraordinarily HIGH

I am a shipper on Uship.com they allow shipping/movers/hauling companies to bid on jobs that any ordinary folk need done. Wether it be local or across the country the site puts shippers and 'shipees' in touch to get the job done. Anyway I recently signed up to help someone move a classic car from Texas to California. We agreed on $970 to do the job. We got the job done but realized that Uship took their fee out of my portion. They also took a fee from the customer. THEY DOUBLE DIPPED! I worked out the numbers and they charged a 17% fee for the total portion of the agreed price. STAY CLEAR IF YOU CAN AND USE SOMEONE ELSE. THIS WEBSITE WILL NOT STAY IN BUSINESS LONG IF THEY CHARGE PEOPLE SUCH HIGH COMMISSIONS!

Uship Drivers theft

I shipped a parcel with Uship and the driver never delivered my freight. I email Uship and they told me the driver has done this before! Why would they keep him on their website if he is ripping people off! There only response was to call the police and good luck! Don't use THEM!!!! Go to the attorney Generals office in Texas and file complaints! My furniture is still roaming around the country its been over a month and the driver still emails me so I cant press charges because the police says he is in contact. What a bunch of BS!

I'm hot shot driver and all I can say is next time you should try a reputable local Hot Shot company that has been in business for a while.

Yes they are a broker, if you charge a % of the shipping cost as a booking fee you are a broker.

Uship - Do NOT use this for your pet

Vague delivery date that changed constantly while my cat was already in the truck. Chicago to Houston took almost four days via several stops through Nebraska, then in Colorado and who knows where else. At most it is an 18 hour drive. Driver change last day. When I called about my pet, was told that I was bothering the driver by calling and if I continued to call he said that he would make a point NOT to make an effort to get my cat to me. HORRIBLE experience. Husband wanted to do it cheap - you get what you pay for

Keep in mind, these drivers do NOT work for uShip. They simply let both a shipper and a driver post loads, and the 2 of you decide if it's a good fit or not.

It's just like Craigslist or a newspaper ad...

just an advertising venue. It's ultimately up to you to decide if you want to trust your cat to this particular person.

Uship in San Pablo, California - I was suposed to have a basset hound puppy deliverd to my home

I paid $100 twice, just to have my puppy delivered to my home, both times i sent the western union confermation number, and teice i was told they told me they never got the money but when i called western union they told me that the money was sent and was received by u ship and still i have no puppy, i have been calling over and over and there customer service people don't speak English are very pushy and are very impersonal, and uncareing and ate also hasseling the man who is sending my puppy!! The company keeps calling and herassing me asking me to give them eter my credit card number or my bank acount number! I am now out $200 and still am dealing with this company saying that they never reciebed my payment despite the fact that the money was taken from my credit card as well as the western union at this point id give anything to nring my puppy home to me where he belongs
