UShip.com is a SCAM! DISHONEST!

I was a transporter on uShip.com. After 3 months of LEGAL transporting, uShip suspended my account for "Unauthorized communication" with a potential customer; I let the boat customer know that I carried cargo insurance and that any other transporter who did not, left the boat owner liable for any loss or damage, even if the transporter had "full coverage" insurance on their vehicle... Also, I let another customer know that USHIP CHARGES A FEE FOR THEM TO USE THEIR SERVICE. Bad boy! They are dishonest, unreliable, unaccountable and outright deceptive to anyone who works with them, uses their transporters, or works for them...

To the original poster, you were red flagged because your comment was not solely related to the services you offer, but rather was targeted at other Service Providers.

Any content you post must be related to your services and your bid and cannot be directed at anyone else. For instance, instead of stating what other Service Providers may or may not have and so forth, you could state what service you can offer to the shipping customer. It's important to always promote what YOU can offer and what the customer can gain by accepting your bid. Making claims about other bidders to scare a customer, whether true of false, is not acceptable communication on the site.

In regards to fees for using the site, the payment process is clearly stated in our User Agreement upon registering an account and throughout the bidding and booking process. There should be no surprise, and our concern is not hiding the fact that Service Providers pay a fee for every matched shipment. Instead our concern is to keep the payment process clear. Understand that the shipping customer pays an Auction Service Fee for accepting a bid, which is clearly stated before booking as the total. We do not want the customer to get confused with the Service Provider's match fees, as they are two separate charges.

It is important to keep this process clear, which is why we restrict inaccurate information to be given on the Q&A boards, within Bid Details, etc.. If a shipping customer asks about the price-breakdown of your costs, just make sure to be clear that the uShip transaction fees are yours to pay - not theirs. That price is included in your bid so that they understand the total cost of their shipment.

OK I'll join in as well.

Shipped a motorcycle from NY to San Diego, First they delayed the shipment costing me storage, then I cancelled and went to another shipper, they then said it was picked up.

I then asked about storage charges, they said to bad. After several months of emailing "Marty" he tells me they are no longer on Uship. I check they are "suspended" from uship.

So I am out $280 storage charges. Well we will see about that.

BEEN ANOTHER USHIP VICTIM?

Contact: trotterautotransport@hotmail.com if you have been scammed on uship or if you have been forced to take their illegal safepay escrow scam.

Charges are being compiled and the more people that help file, the more it will help get a class action suit against uship. If you have lost revenue in any form due to uship's poor business practices, if you have been kicked off for notifying uship of a scammer or you feel they singled you out for a personal vendetta, contact Lonnie @ Trotter and get the needed documentation to add your info to the report.

SPEAK UP, TAKE CONTROL. YOU CAN HELP SHUT DOWN USHIP ONCE AND FOR ALL AND GET A SETTLEMENT FOR LAST WAGES FOR THEIR POOR BUSINESS PRACTICES

Uship scam

They are reposting dead listings and too many abandoned listings. I bid 94 shipments, 22 were still active, five went to another shipper and the remained, DECLINED/ SHIPPING NO LONGER NEEDED. But to add, I got 5 shipments off site since nobody wants to pay their outrageous fees!!!! So what happens when you post that you are legal (versus everyone else illegally operating on there) in your bids? They suspend you, cancel your bids and email everyone you did business with and slander. I have been forwarded the emails and have sent them to my lawyer. Game on you bunch of *** little girls I SUGGEST USING THE WEBSITE: WWW.SHIPALMOSTANYTHING.COM. THEY HAVE OPEN COMMUNICATION SO THERE IS NO FAKE "NEUTRAL" VENUE LIKE USHIP CLAIMS. WE HAVE ALSO REPORTED USHIP TO THE IRS FOR ALLOWING ILLEGAL CARRIERS TO AVOID PAYING TAXES

Uship is a market place for scammers. Don't bother contacting their attorney, Scott Morris.

He posts on everyone of these complaints so he can get your information and shut you up.

I got scammed by Uship, Some dodgy company with a billion complaints in colorado and a dozen names/aliases picked up my car, kept it for weeks never delivered it, told me my bid was too low and they wouldn't deliver it unless I gave them more money, and then demanded a $1000 from me when I went to pick it up. Uship did exactly nothing. The Larimer County Sheriff Department, Colorado Attorney General, Larimer District Attorney all are very familar with the owner and his business practices. That's the kind of people you get with Uship.

Scam artists. Go elsewhere fast or say good bye to your car.

"This reported experience is NOT in any way related to uShip.com or uShip, Inc., but rather describes an instance where a person or group have fraudulently used uShip’s name, logo, etc. without consent."

And you are a lieing sack of ***. The only way to use the USHIP name is for you folks to authorize a user name. You do nothing, zero, nadda, zilch to verify the person(s) using your load board is in fact a legal carrier. Hence, the novice shipper like the woman above looses her puppy. You collect your share of her money and tuff luck on her. Right? USHIP is a rip off and the word is slowly getting around the world.

Of course you could always change your policies. But you won't. That would cut into your bottom line.

This reported experience is NOT in any way related to uShip.com or uShip, Inc., but rather describes an instance where a person or group have fraudulently used uShip’s name, logo, etc. without consent.

uShip is an online shipping marketplace where those who need shipping services can list their items and receive bids from independent transporters registered on the site. uShip is NOT involved in the actual shipment of any items, nor involved in the purchase or sale of any items.

We have been made aware of scams occurring on various online classified sites where the seller of an item makes false and fraudulent claims about uShip and/or impersonates a uShip representative in an attempt to trick individuals into sending them a wire transfer payment for non-existent goods.

We are sorry to hear that you fell victim to one of these scams, but are glad you have taken steps to report this fraudulent behavior. We also strongly encourage you to contact the online classified site where the ad was found as well as the Internet Crime Complaint Center to report this fraud.

How would you feel having a convicted thief, wife beater or a *** in your home around you and your family? I'm sure you would not allow it. The DOT has guidelines to protect us from people like that and if you are bidding on uship, people like "bestpricedave08"...

You can verify a transporter at www.fmcsa.dot.gov If the company name does not match the name on the dot or mc profile at the fmcsa contact the company on the profile. DOT and MC numbers must be posted on both sides of the transporters truck to be legal.

Ask if the unknown company has the right to use their authority. If not give them all the info you can about the unknown company. They are stealing the numbers to look legal. The unknown company can be prosecuted.

Also check to make sure the transporter you use has commercial insurance. If the insurance is not commercial your property is not covered. Call the agent on the insurance cert. You can take your chances, but paying that illegal and low cost transporter could cost you everything.

People on here complain all the time, but they chose that low cost transporter to save a few bucks. They can only blame themselves. Think about it.

How honest is someone doing business illegally. Verify what i have put on here or take your chances.
