With respect to you and others I post this comment. There are many proper decent transporters on Uship.I also deal thru a couple of brokers. As with any one brokers or anyone else, you as the paying customer have the benefit if you take the time to check out who you deal with.It is your money and checking references and certifications is not difficult to do.There is costs involved in gaining the higher reputation as I have. This effects your price of getting it done. You get what you pay for.I get turned down on as many as 100 bids for being "too High".I pick my customers and do not let them choose me just for being"cheap".Uship is an open board.Open to any type of customer or provider there is.It is clearly stated in everything they do that you need to check out who you choose to deal with,as you would on any business decision.

Uship in Sumner, Washington - U-SHIP is great, thank you

I am a M/C[motorcarrier]and have a US-DOT# and have been pulling from U-Ship for a long time and I find them GREAT to pull from, its true U-SHIP is not the norm load board, but then other load boards arent WORLD-WIDE,I also pull from centraldispatch, and have 100% rateing on both sites, but with U-SHIP you know up front how much you are going to make, with the other,a broker may be making as much as us drivers, and we do the work, keep it simple,U-SHIP is GREAT

When deciding whether or not to use UShip and take a big risk by choosing from 1000's of illegals to transport your property, do what I did and go visit

www.StopIllegalTrucking.Com

Those guys helped me by answering all my questions and checking out all my bidders for FREE. It was quick too.

Your post of being an MC "Motor Carrier" with a DOT # is to be questioned.

You stated that you have a DOT# but you failed to state if you had a MC# !

You failed to identy your company or either of your 2 Federally required numbers when transporting for hire across state lines.

Federally compliant carriers canNOT compete on UShip do to all the illegal carriers with pickup trucks.

So go back to BSing more victims (Shippers that are lured over from EBay) on UShip "UScam".

Loveland Auto Transport scammed me on Uship. Kept my car for weeks, refused to deliver it and then scammed me for a $1000 bucks to get it back.

They are a company well known to the Larimer County Sheriff Department in Colorado and also go by the name Loveland Auto Investments/Fair Deal Auto. They operate out of several address in Loveland/Berthoud Colorado because they've got so many complaints with local law enforcement and the BBB. Run by some kiwi with a long criminal history in Australia and New Zealand and has now moved on to operating in the States with Uship as his venue.

My advice, contact local law enforcement once you get an idea that these are the actual people you're dealing with.

It takes a while to figure out because they pick up your car under one name, hide it at a differently named business, use Uship to buffer your phone calls, use disposable cell phones at their location not attached to an address the sheriff's department can attach to a business. But Larimer County Sheriff's department has more than a dozen complaints recently with them since they've just put their scam mode into high gear.

The dirt that Uship doesn't want you to see

Information you won't find any other way!

For a good sampling of what you may experience when using one of the 1000’s of illegally operating Carriers on Uship, just GOOGLE the entire phrase below. Click on the results and read through the feedback of the 100’s if not 1000’s of incidents of stolen money, property, property damages, extortion and abandoned property.

These profiles were suspended, but the damage was already done. The suspensions are done to keep this information from damaging the site‘s reputation and not let the truth trump the propaganda that the site publishes all over the net.

I like UShip. I think they are a good medium for people looking for shipping.

It is also a green alternative to finding a carrier.

Someone is going to be travelling a certain way, and they just pick your stuff up and take it. I found a home for a puppy once, and used uship.

Mr Rogers, what are the benefits of this new site as opposed to other sites, for a transporter?

Uship in Marlinton, West Virginia - Letting noncompliants lie

I would like to expose uscam as a site that promotes the illegal hauling of bikes and suspends the accounts of compliant haulers! They also are hooked up with pay pal and take money out of my paypal account without my approval!so if you think they are not tied in with ebay and pay pal think again!I hpe that the consumer is smart enough to use other means to find out a shippers Phone# by google or the fmcsa web site If a shipper is compliant and you have there mc# or dot# you can go to safersys.org and put in those # and there you can fingd out there Phone# and all of there ins. info!this is the only thing that you can depend on to solve any problems you might have getting your shipment taken care of!usam would like you to think they will do something if u use there site!

This is a reminder about uShip's role. We are a neutral venue that is not involved in the actual shipment nor transactions made outside the site.

We are purely an online marketplace for shipping customers to connect with transportation companies. It is up to each party to come to an agreement and work with each other to complete the shipment.

Upon registering an account, both the Service Provider and shipping customer choose to abide by the terms & conditions set in the User Agreement. For Service Providers, they agree that they are legally able to haul the items they place bids on.

Therefore, uShip does not screen any Service Providers. However, we try to educate customers with our Safe Shipping Guide and ask that they verify a Service Provider's credentials.

A Shipper can acquire the MC or DOT# from the carrier's profile on UShip, look the carrier's contact info up on the Federal Motor Carrier Administration's website (FMCSA.Gov), contact the LEGAL carrier directly and commence to contract them.

By doing so the Shipper could possibly get their item transported for close the same price as the lowest bidder (illegal carrier) by cutting out UShip's outrageous cut! PLUS they would have some recourse in the event something went wrong! It's a NO brainer as to which way to go.

OR

The Shipper can use the lowest bid recieved by an illegal Carrier and have NO recourse if something goes wrong.

UShip has absolutely no control, legal recourse or anything else, period.

They simply want you to go through their site so that they can collect 12.9% from the Carrier and another $30 minimum from the Shipper. Plus then the Shipper leaves feedback which is blasted throughout the net which serves as advertisement. Last but not least are the UShip stories. You will ONLY find positives stories no matter where you look. For UShip doesn't provide the Shipper an opportunity to post anything negative except on a Carrier's feedback.

Positive to negative ratio could equal 3 to 1 throughout the net. mmm
