I got scammed
Facebook marketplace someone wanted to ship me a car with no shipping cost so I want to know how this is allowed with uship
Damaged property
I went through Uship to find someone to move a travel trailer 127 miles. B&h Trucking LLC picked up my trailer and with in 20 min it was demolished D/T neglect and carelessness.
It was left at a truck stop and was than towed away. UShip allowed this company to work through them with no insurance.
You can't deliver a sandwich with door dash without insurance.. They don't do as they say and that's Making sure your property arrives safe

Company would not pay me for service
So this company takes a credit card from their customer to secure a payment for someone like me who is actually doing the work. In this situation, I did the work proves I did the work with text messages and video showing the work was done and because their customer decided not to respond I dont get paid. so now I am out about $500 and I hope they enjoy the work I did Uship has no integrity and does not stand by the customers or service providers.

Trouble verifying my identity because the app just blacks out
Every time I try to verify my identity on this app, the whole screen goes white and is completely unresponsive. Every time Ive tried to contact uShip about this.
I get the message that they cannot take my call right now but never tell me another time to call.
This is went on for about three or four months reminds me of Roadie I Feel It could be a useful app. But greed killed it before it really took off.
Preferred solution: A chance to use the app as it was intended.

Overcharged
My problem is they added in a $250 charge for insurance that I never requested. I have a $50k insurance policy why would I need it plus The guy hauling it has insurance.

Was told would pick up Monday no-show was told pick up Tuesday no-show finally showed up Wednesday night at 10 PM. Driver cannot speak English had to get my next-door neighbor to help load the bike onto the trailer. Had to contact dispatcher again to tell him to make sure driver had help to unload bike when bike was finally unloaded driver asked for tip would not recommend would never hire again

My account has been hacked and someone is making FAKE shipping requests.
Someone has listed a shipping quote for pickup of a Hyundai R210LC-3 to pick up in South Carolina and transport to North Carolina. I am unable to access my Uship account because it has been hacked.
I am receiving several phone calls a day regarding this shipment. How do I stop and remove this shipment and regain control of my account?
Preferred solution: I would like for the scammers to be stopped.

On 09/02/2022 my bid for shipment of 5 container chassis was accepted by Chris Valderrama from Gonzalo Trucking Inc. He immediately offered a second load he had for the same price and I accepted.
I arranged for pick up of 10 container chassis from Pratt Inc. in Niles, MI to Bell Gardens, CA. Chris Valderrama agreed to pay $8956 by credit card upon delivery and I being a freight broker made arrangements to pay carriers $7600. Delivery was made on 09/16/2022 and signed for by Chris Valderrama then he went silent.
I have not been paid for these deliveries and I am at risk of losing my broker bond if the carrier files a claim. To this point the carrier has been patient and understanding of the situation but I have still not been paid. I contacted customer support and was told there was nothing uShip could do. I believe I was victim of fraud by Chris Valderrama and Gonzalo Trucking Inc on uShip.
I am a small business owner with a family to feed and at risk of losing everything because of this 1 uShip transaction. I do not have the resources to hire an attorney or a collection agency and I am running out of time to settle this debt before being forced out of business. I am looking for uShip to cover the shipping cost and then use your own resources to go after the fraudster who victimized one of your users. I have all the proof of delivery and BOL's but that does not seem to matter.
Chris Valderrama and Gonzalo Trucking continues to ignore every attempt I make to collect.
The 1 time I actually talked to someone they claimed that they did not speak English and hung up the phone.
Please help me. I am not able to last much longer and I am afraid that I will not only lose my business but my home as well.

User's recommendation: Be extremely cautious when if you do business with uShip. Run a credit check on all shipping customers and do not accept freight from individuals. uShip is not a safe place to do business fraudsters and criminals are just waiting to take advantage of good people trying to make a living.

I can't get into my account
I cant get into my account Ive tried changing my password so many times I finally just give up I wanted to use Uship for a shipment from Georgia to Florida its only six regular size boxes that can be picked up by hand and for automotive tires if youre interested in helping me you may contact me at rzrsbobby@***l,com

To talk out a problem
I talked on the phone and made a deal to get my delivery. He said I will put a
$ 200 deposit on the card, once a deal is made I will I will refund you the money.
The deal was made, u ship got $495.
Plus the $200 that was never removed from my card.
May be an honest mistake. But if so why am I going though all of this. I sent a picture of my statement showing it.
Date, I want this resolved. Your man told me to give the delivery driver $1600 in cash.
I did what you asked. Please send me the refund ,so I won't have to write to Alabama's attorney General

Truck drivers keep canceling taking bids and then calling update of pick up and canceling Ive been on you ship for three weeks three truck drivers called to pick up my motorcycle in Colorado and deliver it in Illinois always getting excuses truck breaking down cant make it can you meet me halfway this is outrageous and very upsetting not happy with you ship right now at all driver just canceled again on me this morning took bid yesterday called me two hours before pick up same truck problems dont take a bid if you cant do the job

Don't do it. I know someone who got scammed on Facebook Marketplace with a car scam.
The person emailed after the buyer expressed interest in a 2012 Honda and asked for the Uship deposit up front. Then emailed from what looked like a legit email from Uship asking for money through etransfer for the deposit etc. The whole thing turned out to be a scam. There was no car and it never came.
Police and the bank are now involved. If you were scammed as well your best bet is to report to police and your bank.
Not sure if it was the same person but it was someone saying he was posting the ad for his sister and messaged her email. Her email was olivia107cruz@***.com
