Uship in Austin, Texas - Absolutely horrible

We contracted with Uship to move five pallets of product from about an hour away. We received a quote with that included the requested lift gate on the truck as our dock is not raised. The quote was $394 and was pre-paid by credit card. When the product arrived, there was no lift gate and the total was $862, which had to be paid right then or the driver would leave with our product. We called Uship and they stated they was nothing they could do, even though we had the paid quote right in front of us. We were fortunately able to borrow a forklift from a neighboring company and unload. The reason for the more than double price on the quote is that the product was a different "classification" and they didn't account for it (classification was never mentioned when we submitted our order). Needless to say, we are now out $1256 for something that should have cost less than $400 and lost valuable time trying to find a solution when there was a quick turn around for the product. Responses to a request for a refund have been for at least the $394 that was paid in advance have been ignored.

Jennifer is actually the senior customer service & admin support for over 3years now. If by the fact that CitizenShipper is a load board, then yes, we are like Uship in that way. Uship - Scam and deception

They tell you they will give you a free quote. But after you fill out the package details, they want to make you open an account and provide all your personal information. Totally dishonest and misleading. You give me the quote, THEN if I choose I will give you all my personal information. This really looks like phishing, or at the very least an attempt to get your information so they can spam you, sell your information, or whatever else they choose to do. If you promise a free online quote, then just provide it. Don't mislead and deceive potential customers.

having same issue. ive losts1400 dollars from the process this week because a proider crd enterprise is allowed to slander everyone and bribe his customers.

now hes keeps being allowed to conduct this continues business even after numbourus complainets from others too uship.

any allegation is allowed on site, period someone threatens my families life and allowed to ship illegal weapons but as a provider cant do notihng. you get suspended because customer posts info and as a service provider I pay 40% more fees for it.

Worst company I have ever used. I mean tried to used, fired them after a couple days. Terrible customer service then they wouldn't refund my money! Tried to tell me their payments have been messed up. They promised me day after day that it would show up in my account and didn't! Don't ever use this company! ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever. Terrible Terrible terrible terrible terrible terrible terrible. Never use them they suck. Worst business ever. Cant believe they got a television show! Absolutely terrible! This complaint box is just as dumb as ship! You have to use 100 words to say they suck!

Please give yourself a voice and help others by filing a complaint if you’ve had a problem with uShip & a carrier. I think you’ll be shocked after reading the requirements of a carrier on the DOT site and all the rights that a shipper has.

U Ship suspended my account two weeks ago because I was calling out transporters in there Q & A section that weren't legal. I would look up the company and check for active DOT & MC numbers finding out they were not active so then I would make a comment or two....
