if you take a moment before posting your shipment and read information on uship and reviews off the web.you would come to see that uship lies about match fees and that its a deposit for the service provides that use uship.but thats untrue because the service providers never see that deposit.(uship deposit) and they call it a match fee so they don't have to get a broker license and bond.i hope this info helps and hope all stay away from this site.uship sucks, uship sucks, uship sucks, uship sucks, uship sucks, uship sucks, and uship sucks.

UShip is one of the worse things that has happened to the shipping industry. With only a 5% legal carrier rate and 95% illegal carrier rate, they’ve managed to drive down cost and give the industry a bad name.Go to “goplaceslogistics.com” for legit loads and carriers.

they give you bogus estimate fees before you actually commit to making the shipment. my estimate fees were from 575 to 1100 with an average of 900 it said.

the cheapest actual cost to ship was 1600. no thanks u ship.

@billy

Their range is so far out due to the illegal shippers on there, when you got a 1600 bid it was probably from one of the 5% legal shippers there.

It's really not Uship that sucks as bad as brokers

The brokers are the real problem for both shippers and truckers

Most brokers will promise you the moon and stars and will deliver nothing and when you ask them why they never shipped or why it has taken more than a month they just blame you the shipper

most brokers are circus rejected clowns

Uship sucks, impossible to get a load, it's bided down to pennies. Don't see how a log intimate carrier could ever build an overhead using uship.

The whole bidding process takes forever. By the time you win a bid on uship, you would have made multiple trips using an alternative source. this is not a site for carriers. It's for hippies who have room in their trailers.

Enough to pay for a sandwich maybe, but not for a business. I haven't won even 1 bid in the last 2 months.

Uship charges over 20% deposits plus $39 for auction fees and a fee for the shipper to use their site hard to believe that these scammers are still in business, but we are sure their day will come, when they will have to pay up back all the money they have stolen from people. Uship stinks :(

Uship doesn't bring up the fact that they charge 13% for using their website and no customer satisfaction when one of the so called shippers rip you off!! The best way to save is to stay off Uship and go direct with a legal shipper, why pay 13% ?

ShipAlmostAnything.com has illegal transporters on their site. Probably the same % are.

They actually kicked of a legal broker because they were warning shippers that a bidder was illegal.

Smells like the same scam as uShip.

THE ONLY DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE TWO SITES IS SHIPALMOSTANYTHING IS DESPERATE FOR TRAFFIC SO THEY DON'T CHARGE RIGHT NOW.

There is a lot you don't see on uship anymore

They like to delete comments on their forum, to attempt

To keep what the think is their reputation

If new people don't see the negitive then they must be good

A good company address the issue not deletes it

BEEN ANOTHER USHIP VICTIM?

Contact: trotterautotransport@hotmail.com if you have been scammed on uship or if you have been forced to take their illegal safepay escrow scam. Charges are being compiled and the more people that help file, the more it will help get a class action suit against uship.

If you have lost revenue in any form due to uship's poor business practices, if you have been kicked off for notifying uship of a scammer or you feel they singled you out for a personal vendetta, contact Lonnie @ Trotter and get the needed documentation to add your info to the report.

SPEAK UP, TAKE CONTROL. YOU CAN HELP SHUT DOWN USHIP ONCE AND FOR ALL AND GET A SETTLEMENT FOR LAST WAGES FOR THEIR POOR BUSINESS PRACTICES

uShip is an online shipping marketplace. Our site acts as a venue where shipping customers and Service Providers can meet and enter into agreements.

A user who registers an account chooses to abide by the terms and conditions set in our User Agreement. The following information about payment is clearly stated in our User Agreement.

There are currently no fees to join uShip and no required listing fees for shipping customers. uShip may collect a nominal Auction Service Charge from shipping customers in certain categories if and when a bid is accepted. The amount for such an Auction Service Charge, if any, will be displayed for customers before they accept any bid. Transportation Service Providers (TSP’s) are charged a base transaction booking fee based on a tiered percentage of their accepted bid price.

When a shipping customer accepts a bid, they are required to pre-pay a deposit in the amount of the TSP’s transaction fee. This deposit is collected by uShip and credited to the TSP’s uShip account. The deposit amount is then deducted from the accepted bid amount, and the shipping customer pays the balance directly to the TSP.

If there are ever any questions or concerns, our users are welcome to contact Member Support.
