Uship has recently launched Uship logistics and is competing directly with their loyal service providers. If you get a quote to move an item (say a car) you will now see that Uship Logistics (Uships new freight brokerage) is now submitting bids along with their other service providers.
This is a HUGE conflict of interest and damages the credibility of their marketplace even more (if that's possible). Uship sees everyone else's pricing. They also control the rating system. They can influence the selection process.
This is double brokering. They are taking a Uship fee and then a brokerage fee. How many shipments are they picking off? They are skimming the gravy and letting their loyal service providers handle the low margin junk freight.
What a scam. How is this legal?
