i will like to inform those who browse this site that u ship is not totally fake because i got my pet shipped to my house at very cheap cost..the problem is that most clients are stubborn and turn to look at things not directly related .I have a a satisfied client to uship and want to tell those who are unsatisfied to always follow instructions and get their shipment gone.i will like us to always think the both sides before we fall in to bad hands.be prepared if you want to buy,you cant just wake up with an empty pocket and want to buy

Not to take anything lightly, you have to remember after reading some of these gripes people write. That some people are just cry babys and whiner's.

You see them everywhere like the stores and the restaurants and they are crying about some thing *** like their coupon is expired and they dont want to pay the extra 3 cents. It makes you want to grab one of them and give them a cuff right upside the head. And tell the quit sniveling go stand in the corner cry baby.

You know what I'm saying.

I recommend that you stay away from Uship. It appears the vast majority of transporters bidding on shipment on that website are not licensed and do not have cargo insurance.

Always ask any transporter for their DOT and MC (motor carrier) numbers, most Uship transporters don't have these numbers and are operating illegally if they transport goods for hire across state lines. Google Uship Pissed Consumer and read page after page of unhappy former Uship customers complaints. I called Uship about a company that is not DOT compliant that I know for a fact had items stolen out of their truck, changed their phone numbers, did not compensate their customers for their loss (worth tens of thousands of dollars) and are still bidding on shipments on Uship. The Uship rep said it's not their job to make sure transporters are DOT compliant and did nothing to remove this illegal transporter from their site or protect other Uship customers from this illegal transporter.

This is not an isolated incident, this is Uship's standard operating procedure. Uship makes lots of money off these unlicensed transporters and are not about to forbid them from bidding on shipments on their site. Uship knows that most transporters on their site are not DOT compliant but does nothing about it. Additionally, Uship is acting as a broker by taking a fee on every booked shipment even though they claim to be a Neutral Venue.

Uship is not DOT licensed and not bonded. Once again, I highly recommend you seek out a legitimate, licensed and insured transporter to handle your shipping needs and always verify a transporters DOT and MC numbers.

The problem is not entirely uships fault. There are more than a few people who try to low ball an offer and hold out until its accepted then complain when the service is subpar.

While i agree there should be a flat rate/percentage for uship i think it's a case of buyer beware, google the name of the shipper/shippers bidding on the items,as questions, and remember the lowest bid is not always the best bid to accept. If your goods are valuable to you then you should be willing to make sure they arrive in good condition(you get what you pay for)some things cannot be skimped on. And as far as not getting your stuff I dont know any shippers/movers that will let you view or get your items until they are paid.

So stop complaining, research potential companies, and visit the web sites make the calls DO the legwork and leave the heavy lifting to us. :)
